Wes Anderson's best film brings us back to the romantic years of our youth, rewriting all of the pains, heartbreak and naiveties that we've all come to accept as a rite of passage into adulthood. However, this film gratuitously provides a bandaid for aching romantics by delivering the life we dreamed to have happened in those early adolescent years.
Conclusion:
This is the film to watch as it encapsulates the essence of Wes Anderson and has more soul than his masterpiece The Grand Budapest Hotel. This film not only brings you back in time, it also remedies the regrets we've experienced and brings closure to untapped memories. In my opinion, this is Anderson’s greatest contribution to cinema.
